  • 0.5 ½ bottle aroma, (rum)
  • 125 g flour
  • 125 g cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 500 ml buttermilk, or a little less

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy, stir in the remaining ingredients with the egg yolks and fold in the whipped egg whites. Bake crispy waffles with the very hot, well-greased waffle iron. Serve the waffles as fresh as possible and sprinkled with powdered sugar. You can also fill them with fruit or jam.
