Peel the asparagus, divide into 2 portions and place on 2 sheets of aluminum foil. Season with salt and a pinch of sugar and top with 1 tablespoon butter.
Fold the aluminum foil up so that the asparagus lies flat next to each other. The asparagus heads should be covered with double foil, they will then stay crisper. Stew in the oven for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
