Cottage Cheese and Oatmeal Waffles

Delicious and healthy cottage cheese waffles with oatmeal and raisins will be a great breakfast! There is no sugar in the dough for these waffles, this is compensated by a fairly large amount of raisins.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 200 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Oatmeal flakes – 30 g
  • Raisins – 30 g
  • Ground cinnamon – to taste
  • Flour – 1.5 tablespoon.
  • Baking powder – 0.3 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil (if necessary) – for lubrication

If you prefer sweet baked goods, a little sugar in the dough will do the trick. Alternatively, sprinkle the finished waffles with powdered sugar.

Directions

  1. Drive chicken eggs into the curd and grind them with the curd with a spoon so that the mixture becomes as homogeneous as possible.
  2. Add steamed raisins, oatmeal, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Also, add flour mixed with baking powder and stir.
  4. Leave the curd dough for 30 minutes to allow the oatmeal to swell properly. Accordingly, the dough will become thicker.
  5. Heat the waffle iron for thick waffles, oil the plates if necessary. Place the curd dough on plates, 1.5 tablespoons each. for each waffle.
  6. Prepare oatmeal curd waffles as long as your waffle iron needs. I baked a batch of waffles for about 3-4 minutes.
  7. In total, about 7-8 wafers are obtained.
  8. Serve cottage cheese and oatmeal waffles with dessert or for breakfast.
