Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings, approx.
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder, smoked
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon Sriracha sauce, hot
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • some sesame oil
  • possibly sesame
  • possibly spring onion (s)

Instructions

  1. Mix the salt, baking powder, pepper and paprika together. Pour half of the mixture over the wings and stir, pour the remaining mixture over the wings and mix well.
  2. Place the wings on a baking sheet and place in the oven at approx. 200 ° C (top / bottom heat) for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes the wings look a bit strange, don`t worry.
  3. Turn the wings and put them back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes. Turn again, the wings are in the oven for about 60 minutes in total, or until they are nice and crispy and brown.
  4. The baking powder makes the wings nice and crispy and looks like they have been fried.
  5. For the sauce, mix the honey and sriracha sauce with a few drops of sesame oil and rice vinegar in a large bowl. Then add the wings to the sauce and mix well with the sauce.
  6. If you want, you can sprinkle a few more sesame seeds and / or spring onions over the wings.
