- 1 kg quark (curd cheese)
- 1 point pudding powder, vanilla

- 1 glass cherry (s) (sweet cherries)

- At the beginning stir the butter until foamy, gradually add the sugar, the vanilla sugar, the egg and a little salt and stir in half of the flour mixed with the baking powder, spoon by spoon. Then pour the rest of the flour onto the dough and work in with your hands or a mixer so that a crumbly mixture is formed.
- For the filling, mix the curd cheese with the vanilla pudding powder, the egg, the sugar and the lemon juice on a low level and then fold in the strained cherries.
- Now pour half of the dough onto a baking sheet, press flat (so that the entire base of the sheet is covered with it) and put the curd cheese filling on top. The rest of the dough is then (possibly by adding a little flour) distributed on the top of the curd in a crumbly manner (looks like streusel) and the cake is baked in a tube preheated to 175 ° C for 35 minutes.
- Let cool down and serve in portions.
