Cupcake with Walnuts

The cake is prepared with the addition of walnuts.

Ingredients

  • Large eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – 180 g
  • Walnuts (chopped) – 120 g
  • Flour – 200 g
  • Baking powder – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 1/8 teaspoon.
  • Brown sugar – 150 g
  • Corn syrup – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract – 1.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Grease a 20×20 cm ovenproof dish with butter.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, creamy. While whisking, add eggs, corn syrup and vanilla extract. Add nuts, mix well.
  4. Pour the dough into a prepared baking sheet and place in a preheated oven, bake a muffin with walnuts for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown (do not bake!).
  5. Remove the finished cake with walnuts from the oven, let cool at room temperature, and then cut into portioned rectangles.
