Ingredients

  • 700 ml currant juice, (unsweetened)
  • 300 ml wine, white, dry
  • 2 sachets Gelfix, Classic
  • 500 g suar

Instructions

  1. Make juice from currants! Of course, you can also take something that has been bought, but you should make sure that it is unsweetened!
  2. Put the currant juice in a saucepan with the wine. First mix the contents of the Gelfix bag with 2 tablespoons of sugar, then mix with the juice and wine mixture, bring to a boil over high heat. As soon as everything boils bubbly while stirring, add the remaining sugar and bring to the boil again. Let it simmer for at least 3 minutes while stirring constantly, remove from the hob, skim if necessary and pour into prepared glasses immediately! Close the jars and turn them upside down for a few minutes!
