Ingredients

  • 2 chickens
  • 3 onion (s), diced
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3 chilli pepper (s)
  • 5 cm ginger
  • 1 glass white wine
  • 3 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 handful peanuts, fresh

Instructions

  1. Detach the chicken from the bones (the butcher may do this) and peel off the skin (you can cook a great soup or stock from this). Dice the meat.
  2. Fry the diced onion with the diced meat in a large saucepan. Add the chopped chilli peppers and cloves of garlic, as well as the grated ginger. Salt and pepper. Deglaze with white wine and reduce a little. Add the milk, the curry and also the peanut butter. Simmer over a low flame for about 15 to 20 minutes. Add the peanuts 5 minutes before the end. If you don`t like it so crunchy, you can leave it out.
  3. Rice, ribbon noodles or baguettes are ideal as a side dish.
