Ingredients

  • 1 onion (s), diced
  • 300 g beans (cut beans)
  • 4 tablespoon flour
  • 800 ml broth
  • 4 potato (s), diced
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 300 g smoked pork or ham sausae, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, rubbed, dried
  • 1 tablespoon marjoram, rubbed, dried
  • 200 ml cream

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion and let it turn golden yellow in butter. Add the cut beans, dust with flour and fill up with broth. Add potatoes (diced) as well as smoked pork or ham-Mettwurst in cubes, let cook for approx. 25 minutes. Bring the parsley and bay leaves to the boil, remove before serving.
  2. Season to taste with thyme and marjoram, possibly add savory. The soup should be slightly creamy. Stir in the cream.
