Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ small turnip (s), approx. 300 g
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 egg (s), if possible also egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon potato flour
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, grained
  • 1 pinch (s) salt and pepper
  • possibly herbs Provence, ground
  • possibly parsley or chives
  • 1 tablespoon oil, for frying
  • possibly garlic

Instructions

  1. Roughly grate the turnip and grate the onion too!
  2. Separate the eggs and add the yolks, stir in the pepper, salt, vegetable stock and potato flour.
  3. If necessary, add some Knofi and herbs of your own choice!
  4. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in!
  5. Fry in a little rapeseed oil in portions until golden and enjoy!
  6. The turnip needs a hearty seasoning, unless you want to use it with sweet side dishes!
  7. It`s really worth trying!
