DIY Birthday Cake

Often we are faced with the task of how to make a birthday cake with our own hands. Big, beautiful, original and at the same time to please all guests to taste. My recipe will solve it all.

Servings: 6-8
Ingredients
- Wheat flour – 450-500 grams
- Sugar – 350 Grams
- Chicken eggs – 6 Pieces
- Butter – 350 Grams
- Baking powder – 12 Grams
- Yogurt – 200 Grams
- Raspberry – 100 Grams
- Peach – 1 Piece
- Lemon zest – 10 Grams
- White chocolate – 100 grams
- Cottage cheese – 500 grams
- Powdered sugar – 150 Grams
- Food Color – To taste
Directions
- Whisk in soft butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, continue to beat the mass.
- Add yogurt, continue whisking.
- Sift flour into a separate bowl and add baking powder to it. Mix dry ingredients well together.
- Add half of the dry mixture. Mix everything gently with a spatula.
- Add your favorite fruits or berries and lemon zest at this stage.
- Add the second part of the flour and knead the dough. The dough will be thick enough. Divide it into three parts and put it in a baking dish, first covering it with parchment.
- Bake the cakes at 170 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.
- Cool the finished cakes, wrap them in plastic foil and put them in the refrigerator overnight.
- For the cream, melt the chocolate in a water bath, add cottage cheese, 50 grams of butter and powdered sugar, beat everything thoroughly with a mixer.
- Assemble the cake, brush generously with cream.
- Spread the rest of the cream on the sides and top of the cake. Refrigerate the cake for 6-8 hours.
