Ingredients

  • 1 package dough, (filo or yufka dough)
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion (s), diced
  • 1 handful parsley, flat-leafed
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chilli pepper (s), dried, crushed
  • 150 g butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Thaw the dough according to the instructions on the package.
  2. For the filling, mix well the feta cheese, cream cheese, egg, garlic, diced onion and torn parsley. If necessary, add chilli and salt / pepper.
  3. Take the dough out of the packaging and cut it in half, unless it has already been cut into a triangle. Brush the leaves with the melted butter.
  4. Place 1 heaped teaspoon of the filling on each strip or triangle and wrap up tightly. Place these on a greased baking sheet (baking paper will do too) and brush each dumpling with melted butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven (200 ° C) in the middle until golden brown.
  6. You can vary the filling as you like, sometimes with minced meat and cheese, sometimes with spinach and minced meat or just minced meat.
