Ingredients

  • 75 g dark chocolate
  • 75 g cashews or hazelnuts or almonds
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 125 g low-fat quark
  • 100 ml milk
  • 6 tablespoon oil
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoon condensed milk
  • Flour for the work surface
  • possibly couverture to decorate

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a large bowl. Add the quark, milk, oil, sugar and vanilla sugar and knead everything thoroughly (dough hook). Chop the chocolate and cashew nuts very finely. Finally knead in these two ingredients.
  2. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a plate that is as round as possible (approx. 50 cm in diameter). Now cut the plate into 12 pieces (like a cake). Roll up each piece of dough from the wide to the pointed side.
  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with a little condensed milk. Bake for about 30 - 35 minutes at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat, convection: 160 ° C).
  4. If you like, you can decorate the croissants with melted couverture afterwards. Consume as fresh as possible.
