Dzadziki Sauce

Step-by-step recipe for making Dzadziki sauce (other names: tzatziki, tzatziki, talaturi). Tzatziki cold vegetable and yogurt sauce is a typical appetizer in Greek cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber – 1 Piece (if large 1/2)
  • Greek Yogurt – 400 Grams
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Grape vinegar – 1 Tbsp. the spoon
  • Olive oil – 4 Tbsp. spoons
  • Fresh dill – – To taste
  • Salt, pepper – – To taste

Directions

  1. Prepare your ingredients. Wash vegetables, pour yogurt into a deep frying pan.
  2. Peel the cucumber and grate it (you can remove the seeds). Season with salt and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Drain the cucumbers and add to a deep skillet.
  4. Peel the garlic and crush. Add to skillet.
  5. Add finely chopped dill and season with white pepper.

  7. And 4 tablespoon. olive oil.
  8. Mix everything gently and place the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  9. In two hours, our Dzatziki sauce is ready. Can be served as a cold sauce for meat.
