Egg, Celery and Sausage Salad

An egg salad with sausages will diversify your daily menu or help you out when guests are on the doorstep. Celery stalks with spicy pickled onions are very important in this dish, with them the usual salad will sparkle with bright flavoring colors.

Ingredients

  • Sausages – 5 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Stalked celery – 2 stalks
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Sweet mustard beans – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

  • For filing:
  • Tartlets – 12 pcs.
  • Fresh parsley
  • Cranberry

Directions

  1. Let’s prepare the ingredients for the salad.
  2. Boil hard-boiled eggs in a convenient container (8-10 minutes after boiling).
  3. Put the sausages in a saucepan, fill with water, bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes. We take out, let it cool.
  4. Peel and chop the onion.
  5. In a convenient bowl, pour the onion with vinegar, add a teaspoon of sugar, mix. Leave for 10 minutes to marinate the onion. Then we put the onion in a colander, rinse with cold water.
  6. My celery, cut into small pieces.
  7. Three cheese on a fine grater.
  8. Cut the sausages into slices.
  9. We clean the cooled eggs, cut them into small cubes.
  10. In a bowl, mix the pickled onions, mustard and lemon juice.
  11. Then add mayonnaise and cheese, mix.
  12. Add eggs, celery and sausages. Salt and pepper to taste.
  13. We mix. We put the salad in the refrigerator for 15 minutes so that it is infused.
  14. Egg, celery and sausage salad with cheese and pickled onions, ready. To give it a festive look, tartlets or brown bread slices can be used for serving. Decorate the salad with fresh herbs and cranberries.
