Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon butter, (preferably truffle butter)
  • 1 slice / s cooked ham
  • some cheese, semi-hard cheese in small cubes
  • 2 medium egg (s), fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Brush egg boilers or glasses with butter.
  2. Cut the ham into small cubes and mix with the cheese cubes. Pour something into the egg boiler / glass. Beat an egg on it. Possibly a small stitch of butter on top. Then close.
  3. Place in a saucepan and fill with warm water to just below the brim. Bring to the boil and then let it steep for about 10-15 minutes (depending on the consistency of the egg).
  4. It is served with toast.
  5. Also suitable for filling are: smoked salmon, smoked trout fillet, herbs, gorgonzola, etc. There are no limits to your imagination.
