Ingredients
- 400 g pumpkin meat, diced (e.. Orane Knirps)
- 1 onion (s)
- 5 dl broth (vegetable or meat broth)
- 0.5 ½ vanilla pod (s)
- 2 dl cream or milk
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter

- Heat the butter in a saucepan, chop the onion and steam for a minute. Steam the pumpkin for 3 minutes over a medium heat.
- Deglaze with the broth.
- Scrape out the vanilla pod, add the pulp, cook the pod as well.
- Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Remove the pod, puree the whole thing, stir in the cream or milk, season with salt and pepper.
- With the Orange Knirps the soup becomes wonderfully creamy and creamy, for me the optimal variety for soups, the consistency is similar to the potato.
