Ingredients
- 400 g flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 50 g butter
- 375 ml beer
- some flour for the work surface
- Grease for the tin
- possibly caraway seeds

- Work the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and butter in small pieces into a crumbly mass. Then pour 375 ml of beer and make a soft batter.
- Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth, adding more flour if necessary. Shape the dough into four balls, place on a greased baking sheet and flatten a little. Then brush with a little water and cut into the surface with a knife. Sprinkle with caraway seeds to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 210 ° C for at least 10 minutes (usually a little longer). Makes 4 rolls.
