Ingredients
- 1 liter water
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon whey
- 300 g strawberries

- Put the water with sugar, lemon juice and whey in a sealable glass vessel and stir everything until the sugar has dissolved. Wash the strawberries, cut into small pieces and place in the container.
- Close the jar tightly and let it stand for 2 days at room temperature. Shake briefly two to three times a day. Try the lemonade after 2 days. If not enough carbon dioxide has formed, close the container again and let the lemonade rest (ferment) for another day.
- Then skim off the strawberries, chill the lemonade and use within a few days. If you want, you can decorate the lemonade glasses with fresh strawberries.
- Note: the fermentation with whey can produce small amounts of alcohol, below 0.5% by volume.
