Festive Salad “Bride”

Layered salad “Bride” with chicken and nuts is a very tasty and beautiful appetizer. The top snow-white layer of egg white resembles a light and airy bride’s dress. This meat salad is suitable both for a festive table and for an everyday dinner.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 400 g
  • Walnuts – 100 g
  • Processed cheese – 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 200 g
  • Eggs – 5 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 200 g
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Water (boiling water) – 100 ml
  • Vinegar 9% – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. We prepare the ingredients according to the recipe for puff salad with chicken and nuts.
  2. First of all, pickle the onion. To do this, add boiling water, vinegar and sugar to finely chopped onions. We leave for 15 minutes.
  3. Let’s start assembling the salad. Put the boiled chicken fillet cut into cubes in the first layer. On top we make a net of mayonnaise.
  4. The second layer is pickled onions, from which we drain all the liquid. Lubricate with mayonnaise on top.
  5. 3rd layer – boiled potatoes grated on a coarse grater. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  6. 4th layer – chopped walnuts. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  7. 5th layer – finely grated egg yolks. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  8. 6th layer – processed cheese grated on a coarse grater. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  9. 7th layer – egg whites, grated on a coarse grater. Put the salad with chicken and nuts in the refrigerator for 2 hours, after cooling it will keep its shape well.
  10. Delicious and beautiful chicken salad “Bride” is ready!
