Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 60 g feta cheese
  • 25 g flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder, medium hot
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 25 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Roughly grate the carrots, zucchini, onion and feta cheese.
  2. Mix the flour, cumin, poppy seeds, curry and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Add the carrot mixture, stir in the beaten egg and mix everything well.
  3. Heat the butter and oil in a heavy pan. Add a spoonful of carrot mixture, press flat and fry for about 2 minutes on each side.
  4. Drain briefly on kitchen paper and serve hot.
