Ingredients

  • 1 kg prawns, raw, unpeeled
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), red, diced
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), green, diced
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 ½ bunch spring onion (s), sliced

For the marinade:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 splash lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 1 pinch (s) sea salt
  • 1 pinch (s) black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pinch (s) cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) paprika powder, noble sweet

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients of the marinade in a bowl. Then fold in the prawns and let marinate for a while.
  2. Heat the wok with the olive oil and sauté the sliced garlic cloves and the diced red and green chili peppers. Now add the prawns and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the prawns turn red.
  3. Finally sprinkle the chopped parsley and spring onions over the top.
  4. Oven-fresh baguette goes very well with it.
