Filling for Roll with Poppy Seeds

Poppy filling recipe for rolls, buns and other pastries.

Ingredients
- Poppy – 300-400 g
- Sugar – 0.75 cups
- Honey – 150 g
- Almonds – 1 tbsp
Directions
- Products for making poppy filling are in front of you. Boil the kettle.
- Rinse the poppy seed thoroughly so that there is no sand.
- Then boil it with boiling water, close the lid tightly and leave for 30-40 minutes (or boil it in milk until soft).
- Then let the liquid drain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth, dry.
- After that, skip the poppy 2 times through a meat grinder.
- Fry the almonds in a dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
- Grind the almonds with a rolling pin.
- Mix the prepared poppy with sugar and honey so that the poppy filling for the roll turns out to be thick, reminiscent of jam (you can add almonds if you wish).
- Mix everything well. The filling for baking with poppy seeds is ready.
- Rolls or rolls with poppy seeds can be shaped.
