Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg pear (s), peeled, diced
  • 1 pck. Almond (s), chopped
  • 500 g preservin suar (3: 1)
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice or lemon juice
  • cinnamon powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the pears and remove the core, then cut into small cubes and drizzle with lime juice.
  2. Roast the chopped almond pieces in a non-stick pan until golden brown.
  3. Put the pear cubes and the roasted almonds in a large saucepan and mix well with the whole packet (500 g) of preserving sugar 3: 1, then season with cinnamon to taste.
  4. Now rinse the jam jars and the lids with hot water and place them upside down on a towel.
  5. Bring everything to the boil, stirring constantly, until everything bubbles. From then on, let simmer for 4 minutes while stirring. Pour the jam full to the brim in the prepared jars, unscrew the lids and turn the jars upside down for about 5 minutes.
  6. Makes 4-6 glasses depending on the glass size.
