Ingredients

For the topping:

4 slices bacon
1 potato (s)
Oil, for frying
Chives, finely chopped for decoration

Fine Potato Soup with Croutons and Bacon Flavor

Instructions

Chop the shallots and fry them in butter. Peel and dice the potatoes and add them to the pot. Top up with the broth. Cook until the potatoes are done.
Then add the cream and sour cream and puree everything in the mixer or with the hand blender. Season with salt and nutmeg.
Fry the bacon in the pan until crispy or, better, bake it in the oven at 160 ° C for 10 minutes or put it in the microwave for 2 minutes at 1000 watts.
Clean the potatoes for the garnish and cut into small cubes. Bake in a pan with oil until golden. Dry and season with salt.
Serving:
Put the soup on a deep plate, crumble the bacon over it, add the potato croutons and decorate with chives. Good Appetite!
