Fish Baked with Mushrooms, Onions and Corn

Fish casserole with mushrooms, onions, and corn is such a tasty, appetizing, juicy, tender, bright, and aromatic dish that it is difficult to stop after tasting a piece. Lots of fried onions and mushrooms paired with sweet corn is just perfect. Sour cream and mustard sauce, sprinkled with cheese as the final accord, gives the dish a special touch. Try it!

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Fish fillet (pangasius or other fatty fish) – 400 g
  • Champignons – 300 g
  • Frozen corn – 200 g
  • Onions red and white – 300 g
  • Hard cheese – 70 g
  • Sour cream – 150 g
  • Sweet mustard (French) – 2 teaspoon
  • Flour – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 2/3 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/3 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil – 70 ml

Directions

  1. Cut the onion into half rings.
  2. Heat a few tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan, put onions, and fry for 3-4 minutes, until soft and golden brown.
  3. Cut the fish fillet into small pieces, salt with 1/3 teaspoon of salt and pepper, setting aside 1 pinch of pepper.
  4. Breaded the fish in flour, using 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of flour.
  5. Heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a skillet. Put the fish in a frying pan and fry on each side for a few minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Put the onion in a heat-resistant form (the dia of my form is 22 cm).
  7. Place the corn on top of the onion.
  8. Next, layout the fish layer.
  9. Wipe the champignons with a damp tea towel and cut them into large pieces.
  10. Pour the rest of the oil into the pan, add the mushrooms and fry for about 7 minutes, until golden brown.
  11. Put the fried mushrooms on the fish and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  12. Prepare the sauce. To do this, combine sour cream, mustard, remaining flour, salt and ground pepper in a bowl.
  13. Mix the sauce thoroughly.
  14. Pour the sauce over a layer of mushrooms. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, sprinkle on the dish and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  15. Fish baked with mushrooms, onions, and corn is ready. Serve the hot dish immediately.
