Fried Eggs on Puff Pastry with Sausage and Cheese

It turns out that you can cook an interesting, tasty, and attractive dish from simple and affordable products – scrambled eggs on ready-made puff pastry. Crispy puff pastry melted stretching cheese, sausage, and eggs: pizza and scrambled eggs – two in one! Such an unusual and simple breakfast will not take much time to prepare and will cheer you up even on the gloomiest morning.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Yeast-free puff pastry – 230-250 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Sausage – 120 g
  • Green onions – 5-7 feathers (10 g)
  • Fresh dill – 3 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground pepper (mix or black) – to taste

Directions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry into a layer about 3 mm thick and cut into two parts. You will get two rectangles measuring 15×20 cm each.
  2. Cut the sausage into thin cubes. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater. Put the sausage with cheese in a bowl.
  3. Finely chop the green onion and dill. Set aside a little chopped dill for serving. We turn on the oven and heat up to 200 degrees. Put the dough rectangles on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Put the mixture of cheese and sausage on top of each dough rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle with green onions on top. We make small indentations in the filling. Carefully, trying not to damage the yolk, break the egg into a depression.
  5. Salt the eggs and sprinkle with ground pepper. We bake scrambled eggs on puff pastry, with sausage and cheese, in the oven at 180-200 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. When the whites of the eggs grab (the yolks remain liquid), remove the eggs from the oven.
  6. Sprinkle the finished scrambled eggs on puff pastry with sausage and cheese, sprinkle with dill on top and serve hot.
