  • 3 egg (s)
  • 80 g suar
  • 60 g butter, soft
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 120 g almond (s), round
  • 1 shot rum
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. The puff pastry sheets should be large enough to fill a cake shape. Place the first sheet of puff pastry in a greased cake tin.
  2. Mix 2 eggs with the sugar until frothy, then add the butter, almonds, vanilla sugar and a small sip of rum. Mix everything well until you get a smooth dough. Pour the mixture into the cake pan, making sure that there is a 1 cm wide rim.
  3. Now a little something can be hidden in the cake that cannot be destroyed during baking (e.g. a plastic figure, a ring, etc.).
  4. Separate the last egg and brush the edge of the puff pastry with egg white. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and press down firmly.
  5. Brush the cake with the egg yolk and prick ten times with a fork. Bake at 175 ° C for about 30 - 40 minutes.
