Gingerbread Cake with Raisins and Candied Fruits (no Sugar)

Ingredients

  • Butter – 100 g
  • Milk – 80 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Honey – 150 g
  • Raisins – 80 g
  • Candied fruits – 80 g
  • Flour – 450 g
  • Ground dried ginger – 2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Powdered sugar, for decoration (optional) – to taste

Directions

  1. We begin the preparation of gingerbread cake with raisins and candied fruits by sifting and mixing all the dry ingredients.
  2. Melt the butter. Add honey and milk to the butter, mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Beat eggs with a mixer.
  4. Add the milk-butter mixture, beaten eggs, raisins, candied fruits to the dry ingredients and knead the dough for a ginger-honey cake.
  5. We put the dough in a baking dish (silicone) and send the honey cake to the preheated oven.
    Bake the gingerbread cake with raisins and candied fruits for 50-60 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees.
  6. Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar.
