Divide the goat cheese into 12 portions and form balls. Roll the balls in the almonds until they are covered. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for approx. 30 - 60 minutes.
Warm the wine, dissolve the sugar in it, add the spices and let it boil down for approx. 20 minutes. Add the grapes and heat for about 7 minutes.
Distribute the grapes and red wine syrup evenly on four plates. Place 3 cheese balls on top of each. If you like, you can decorate with herbs.
