Ingredients

  • 170 g flour
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 50 g bacon, finely diced
  • 1 large onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 75 g walnuts, rouhly chopped
  • 100 ml oil, (walnut oil)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 100 g cheese, rated (Emmentaler or mountain cheese)
  • 150 g Goronzola, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees circulating air.
  2. Fry the bacon and onions in olive oil, add the walnuts and season the mixture with salt and pepper. Take it from the stove and let it cool off.
  3. Mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl, add the eggs and stir everything together. Gradually stir in milk, walnut oil and grated cheese. Finally fold in the Gorgonzola crumbs and the bacon, onion and nut mixture.
  4. Put the dough in a greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
