Ingredients
For the dough:
- 75 g butter, soft
- 50 grams sugar
- 2 medium egg (s)
- 1 orange (s), untreated, which the peel

- 75 g butter, cold, cut into cubes
- 100 g flour
- 60 g suar

- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C, later turn it down to 180 ° C fan oven.
- For the dough, mix the softened butter with the sugar until creamy and mix in the eggs thoroughly. Then add the salt and the orange peel, this results in a great fruity component and goes wonderfully with the plums, grandma`s idea! Then mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the butter mixture with the milk. The finished dough should slowly fall off the beater, then it has the right consistency. Grease a springform pan and pour the batter on it.
- For the topping, wash the plums, preferably fresh and juicy ripe from the tree, cut in half, stone and then arrange in a circle on the dough.
- For the crumble, knead the cold butter cubes, flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon nicely with your hands or the dough hook into thick crumbles and distribute them evenly on the plums.
- Bake the cake at 180 ° C for 40 - 50 minutes on the middle rack.
- Tip: Grandma`s cake is still warm with cold whipped cream.
- For a sheet cake, double the amount of ingredients and take 35 - 40 minutes of baking time.
