Green Beans Casserole

The green beans casserole is a great hot appetizer with a special flavor and aroma. This casserole is an excellent solution for those who like to cook quickly, but eat tasty and satisfying food!

Servings: 4-5

Ingredients

  • Green beans – 300-400 Grams
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Eggs – 2 Pieces
  • Milk – 0.5 cups
  • Fresh herbs – – To taste (dill, parsley, green onions)
  • Hard cheese – 100-150 grams
  • Salt, pepper – – To taste
  • Butter – 2 Tbsp. spoons

Directions

  1. Rinse the asparagus beans in plenty of water. then cut off the stems, cut the pods into 2-3 pieces and boil in water for a few minutes.
  2. In a skillet in vegetable or olive oil, fry finely chopped onions until golden brown, then add beans, salt, pepper and chopped herbs. Simmer the contents for several minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. While the beans are stewing, beat the eggs with the milk. Then pour the resulting mixture into a skillet.
  4. Then remove the frying pan from heat. Sprinkle with cheese grated on a coarse grater, put 2 tablespoons of butter and send to bake in the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown.
  5. Serve the casserole warm. You can prepare some kind of sauce for it (for example, sour cream + ketchup + garlic). The casserole is also delicious to serve with fresh vegetables.
