Ham and Bread Casserole

This egg, cheese, and ham casserole can be a simple yet satisfying hot snack or a stand-alone meal.

Ingredients
- Ham (diced) – 0.5 cups
- Whole grain bread – 4 slices
- Cheddar cheese (shredded) – 1/3 cup
- Eggs – 4 pcs.
- Milk – 2/3 cup
You can also add chives, dried thyme, oregano, dill, and/or green onions to your ham casserole.
Directions
- Grease two ovenproof round tins of 600 g each with vegetable oil. Cut the bread slices into small pieces. Put the bread in oiled tins, add ham and cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine eggs, milk, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper, whisk lightly. Pour bread portions with this mass, drown the bread in the milk mass with a spoon. Cover and place the molds in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably 24.
- Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Place the workpiece in a preheated oven, cook the casserole for about 30-35 minutes. Remove the ham casserole from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
