Ingredients
- 1 pack hand cheese with 4 rolls, ripe
- 1 apple, sweet or sour - to taste
- 1 onion (s), red
- 0.5 ½ bunch chives
- 3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 5 tablespoon oil, neutral
- 50 g walnuts or pumpkin seeds
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, freshly ground

- Cut the red onion into cubes and fry briefly in the pan with a little oil until translucent, then set aside and allow to cool.
- Cut the hand cheese (with or without caraway seeds) and the apple into cubes and place in a bowl. Chop the chives and add the cooled onions to the bowl and mix everything together with salt, pepper, vinegar and oil.
- You are welcome to put it in the refrigerator for one night so that everything can flow well - but an hour will do too.
- Just before serving, add walnuts or pumpkin seeds, stir again, done.
- A glass of apple wine, sour or pure, goes perfectly with it.
