Heart-Shaped Sausage Sandwiches

It is easy to show care and make a loved one pleasant both on February 14 and on any other day! Even if the simplest products are at hand and a minimum of time. Make these romantic heart-shaped sausage sandwiches and serve them as breakfast on Valentine’s Day. Your efforts will certainly be appreciated!

Ingredients
- Bread – 2 slices
- Sausages – 2 pcs.
- Processed cheese – 40-60 g
- Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Fresh dill – 2-3 branches
For the filling (optional):
- Olive / olive (pitted) – 1 pcs. or tomato / bell pepper – 1 slice
Directions
- Cut out blanks from two slices of bread (triangular or such as in the photo). Dry bread slices in a dry frying pan for 2 minutes on each side.
- Rub the cheese on a fine grater. Chop the dill. Peel the garlic and squeeze it through a press into a bowl of cheese. Add dill and mayonnaise. We mix.
- We spread the broken mass on the bread and distribute it. At an angle of about 45 degrees, cut off the edge of the sausage with a length slightly less than bread slices.
- Cut off all the edges of the sausages in the same way. Using toothpicks we connect parts of sausages in pairs, forming “hearts”.
- We spread the “hearts” of sausages on sandwiches with cheese. If desired, put a small piece of olives, tomatoes, or peppers on the tips of the toothpicks – anything that will help the toothpicks become more like arrows. Heart-shaped sausage sandwiches are ready. Bon Appetit!
