Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 6 egg (s), size M.
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 300 grams flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 125 g almond (s), round
  • 1 tablespoon water, as needed
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until frothy, add a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix and sift the flour and baking powder and gradually stir in with the ground almonds. Stir in rum and, if necessary, some water.
  3. The dough should not be thin, but rather stay a little firmer.
  4. Bake spoon by spoon in a waffle iron until golden.
  5. After cooling down, the hearts can be separated from each other
  6. and keep in a biscuit tin, or, sprinkled with powdered sugar, enjoy immediately.
