Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (heaped )
  • 1 teaspoon salt (slightly heaped )
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 175 g curd milk
  • 1 tablespoon basil, fresh, chopped
  • some thyme, fresh, chopped
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Put the flour with the baking powder in a bowl and mix. Now add salt, oil and curdled milk and knead everything into a dough with the dough hook of a mixer until it loosens easily from the edge of the bowl. Add the basil and thyme and work under the dough. Then roll out the dough about 1 to 1.5 cm thick on a lightly floured work surface. Now take a glass (preferably 6 to 7 cm in diameter) and cut out circles. Now mix the egg yolks with the milk, brush the herb rolls with them and place on a prepared baking sheet.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 16 to 18 minutes until golden yellow.
  3. It is best to serve it warm.
