Ingredients

  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 5 teaspoons oil, (sunflower oil)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon oil, (walnut oil)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon basil in oil, drained
  • 350 g flour, wheat flour type 550
  • 2 ½ tablespoon milk powder (skimmed milk powder)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet yeast (dry baking yeast)
  • 70 g walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pour the water into the bread pan, add the oils and basil.
  2. Spread the flour evenly on top and sprinkle with skimmed milk powder and herbs. Put the salt and sugar in each corner of the tin. Make a small indentation in the flour with your finger without exposing the liquid and add the yeast.
  3. Bake the bread.
  4. Program: normal, medium browning
  5. Tip: I only let the machine make the dough and then shape it into a baguette. I put it on a tray, let it rise again and bake it in the oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes
