Ingredients

  • 250 g pork fillet (s), from the thick center piece
  • 3 pointed peppers, yellow
  • 2 medium onion (s), red
  • Processed cheese, a few slices, or cheese to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • some herb butter

Instructions

  1. Parry the meat and cut into cubes approx. 2 cm thick. Wash the peppers, cut in half and cut out the seeds with the dividers. Now cut the peppers into strips approx. 2 cm thick. Peel the onions and quarter them so that the segments are still hanging together. Place the meat, paprika and onions one after the other on metal or well watered wooden skewers, season with pepper, paprika powder and salt.
  2. Prepare the grill for direct grilling. Brush and oil the grillage, then briefly grill the skewers on all sides, remove from the embers and cover with cheese. Melt the cheese over indirect heat with the lid closed.
