Home-Style Roast Pork with Potatoes and Bell Peppers.

Home-style roast is always a tasty and satisfying dish for a family lunch or dinner. Juicy meat, complemented by aromatic vegetables, is a truly ceremonial dish, despite its simplicity!

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Pork (pulp) – 300 g
  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Onions – 100 g (2 pcs.)
  • Sweet pepper (red) – 200 g (1 pc.)
  • Sunflower oil – 5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Seasoning for meat – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Wash the meat well, dry with a paper towel, then cut into small pieces.
  2. Cut the potatoes into slices about 3-4 mm thick.hh
  3. Cut the onion into half rings.
  4. Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds, remove the stalk. Cut the pulp of the pepper into strips.
  5. Heat sunflower oil in a skillet over high heat. Place pork and fry until crusty.
  6. Then reduce heat, salt and add seasoning for meat.
  7. Add potatoes to the meat. Fry over low heat until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Add a little more vegetable oil if necessary.
  8. Add bell peppers to the pan. Fry, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes. Add onions to the meat with vegetables, continue cooking for about 10 minutes.
  9. When the potatoes and meat are tender and the onions are browned, the home-style roast is done. You can serve the roast either on your own or supplement with fresh vegetables.
