Homemade Bread with Seeds

Ingredients

  • Flour – 500 g (±)
  • Yolks – 3 pcs.
  • Salt – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 2 teaspoon
  • Dry yeast – 11 g
  • Vegetable oil – 30 g
  • Water – 1 glass (faceted)
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Flax or sesame seeds
  • Dry herbs

Directions

  1. We mix yeast with sugar and salt. From a cup of lukewarm water that you have prepared, gradually pour 35 ml into a bowl of yeast. Mix everything well.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of flour and mix. We leave for 10 minutes for the dough to come up.
  3. Gradually pour 70-100 ml of water into the yolks and mix. Pour the rest of the water into a bowl, where we will knead the dough. Pour the yolks into a bowl of water.
  4. Add yeast there and mix with a wooden spoon. Gradually add 3-4 tablespoons of flour. When the dough begins to gather in a lump, you do not need to add more flour.
  5. Pour the rest of the flour onto the table and put the dough there. Stir in flour. The dough is soft and sticks to your hands. Here you need to add oil to such a dough.
  6. Mix the butter well into the dough. After that, knead the dough in flour a little more. As a result, the dough should keep its shape, not creep or stick to your hands. (If you have achieved the desired consistency, and the flour still remains, then you do not need to try to introduce it all, because each time a different amount of flour goes out. This time I have about 100 g left.) Leave the dough at room temperature so that it comes up a little …
  7. Do not grease the baking dish, but simply sprinkle it with flour, otherwise, the bread will not rise. We transfer the dough into a mold and press it down with our fingers.
  8. Sprinkle the bread with seeds and herbs, press down. Sprinkle the middle of the bread, but not the sides, with vegetable oil. We send bread with seeds to the oven, preheated to 170-180 degrees, for 25-30 minutes. We bake until “dry match”. (The time and temperature for baking depend on the oven.)
