How to Make a Classic Ceviche

Ceviche is a fish or seafood dish, the home of which is Peru. The dish has become widespread in the cuisines of many Latin American countries, although recipes can vary significantly.

Ingredients

  • Fish (any white) – 680 gr.
  • Red onion – 1 cup
  • Chili pepper – 1 pc.
  • Cilantro – 2 tablespoon.
  • Lime juice – 1 glass
  • Celery – 1 stalk
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Fish, trimmings – 115 gr.
  • Fish broth – 2 cups

Directions

  1. Slice the fish thinly, place in a large bowl, and cover with ice.
  2. Pour tiger milk over ice and place the marinated fish in 4 cold dishes.
  3. Chop the onion, chili, and cilantro thinly.
  4. Place the chopped vegetables in the marinated fishbowl with tiger milk.
  5. Stir thoroughly and distribute equal amounts of onion mixture over fish dishes.
  6. Pour the remaining “milk” on top of the fish.
