Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons tea, (Darjeeling), or other mild black tea
- 1 piece (s) ginger root, the size a thumb
- 2 tablespoon, heaped sugar
- 1 liter water

- Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices, pour the tea into tea tongs, for example.
- Put both together with the sugar in the boiling water and remove the tea after about 4 minutes, otherwise the iced tea will be bitter. The ginger should stay in the water for about 10 minutes. Now just let it cool down and then chill.
- With this amount of sugar, the tea is slightly less sweet than most ready-made iced teas. I find it much more refreshing this way.
