Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 200 g suar
  • 200 g butter
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 g quark
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 80 g hazelnuts, round
  • 80 g almond (s), round
  • 200 g sultanas
  • 60 g lemon peel
  • 60 g orane peel
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled gingerbread spice
  • 200 g marzipan
  • powdered sugar
  • Butter, liquid

Instructions

  1. Knead the flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, butter, nuts, almonds, lemon peel, orange peel, sultanas, gingerbread spices and quark into a dough. Roll out the dough, roll the marzipan and place in the middle of the dough and shape into a stollen. Place the Stollen on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 175 degrees for approx. 70 minutes, then immediately brush with melted butter and dust with icing sugar.
  2. The recipe makes 2 stollen.
