Ingredients

  • 2 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 cm ginger, peeled, finely chopped
  • 30 g hee or 1.5 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Heat the fat in a saucepan and fry the onions and garlic cloves until translucent. Crush the coriander in a mortar, add the fennel, ginger and bay leaf to the pan and roast briefly.
  2. Pour 1 liter of water on top and let simmer covered for 30 minutes. Season with a little salt.
