Ingredients

  • 6 egg (s)
  • 200 g ham (toast), cut into small cubes
  • 150 g cheese, e.. Gouda, cut into small cubes
  • 1 onion (s), cut into small cubes
  • 1 onion (s), cut into rings
  • Parsley, finely chopped
  • Ketchup
  • Tabasco
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Basil, finely chopped
  • 1 handful basil (leaves)
  • Butter, or margarine, for frying

Instructions

  1. Put the eggs in a bowl, add the ham and cheese. Season to taste with pepper, salt, ketchup, Tabasco and cayenne pepper. Mix in the finely chopped herbs.
  2. Heat some butter or margarine in a pan and fry the diced onion. Then pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook, stirring constantly, until it is no longer runny.
  3. Put some freshly ground pepper on a plate, place the egg dish (scrambled eggs) on top, pepper again. Spread the onion rings and basil leaves on top.
