Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 450 g flour
  • 250 g mararine
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 point baking powder
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 orange (s), juice and zest

For the filling:

  • 1 ½ kg apples
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 100 g suar
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Dough preparation:
  2. Mix all ingredients, knead into a smooth dough and cut in half. Chill for 1 hour.
  3. Preparation and filling:
  4. Peel and quarter the apples, remove the core and grate, squeeze and fry in butter with sugar and cinnamon for about 15 minutes. To let it cool down.
  5. Roll out both halves of the dough to the size of a baking sheet. Place one half on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread the filling on top and cover with the second half of the dough. Prick the dough evenly several times with a fork.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while it is still warm.
