Kefir Cupcake with Orange Zest

A kefir cake with a subtle citrus aroma turns out to be very delicate in texture, and its preparation does not take much time.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 300 g
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Kefir – 1 glass
  • Sugar – 140 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon
  • Orange (zest) – 1 pc.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 sachet
  • Powdered sugar – 2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Melt the butter, let it cool slightly and pour into a bowl. Add sugar and eggs. Beat eggs with sugar and butter with a mixer until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add kefir, in which we extinguish the soda. Add vanilla sugar. Mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Rub the orange zest on a grater (only the orange part), mix. Add flour, mix the dough thoroughly – first with a spoon, then with a mixer.
  4. Fill a baking dish (silicone) with dough and send it to a preheated oven. We bake the cake on kefir for 50-55 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
