Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 300 g suar
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 400 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons cardamom
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 teaspoons butter, for spreading the mold
  • 3 tablespoon breadcrumbs to dust the pan
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °, grease and dust a cup cake pan (28cm diameter).
  2. Mix the butter & sugar until foamy, add one egg after the other.
  3. Mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cardamom together. Mix half of the mixture into the batter.
  4. Add the sour cream and vanilla, then stir in the remaining flour.
  5. Pour the dough into the mold and bake for about 50-60 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
  6. Tip: The cake tastes best when it is still lukewarm!
